Subject: [POLL] Jetspeed in a production env?

We are on the verge of deploying this for our Intranet. BTW - our QA dept
setup 100 concurrent connections continuously hitting Jetspeed for 12-hours
(a pre 1.2b1 version from cvs) and got an average of 3-5 second response
time. I do not recall how many hits they simulated in 1-hour, but we were
satified with the results.

We would like logged-in users to be able to access personal information from
other web sites. For example, we have developed an eScheduling on our
Intranet. I would like to be able to pass userID/Passwd to the site to get
their personal events. This means that this portlet must post the Turbine
ID/Passwd to get the appropriate rss file. Also, this url should bi-pass the
cache. I started to work on this myself but could never get my portlet code
to read parameter values.
A requested fix: If you define more than 1 pane in the paned controller, the
"tabs" look like 1 continuous string. Perhaps a space could be inserted so
the tabs are seperated?
Also, password reminders would be nice: Allow the user to specify a question
they must answer (for example, "What is your Mother's maiden name"), and
what the correct answer is.
So if I forget my password, you ask me my Mother's maiden name. I reply
correctly, so Jetspeed emails my login info to me.
