I am the third place winner of the OpenJODA contest that was sponsered by the Xo3
people. Basically this means that Xo3 is sponsoring my submission to the contest on
sourceXchange. You can read about it here:

If have have a short attention span, what the preceding link means is that I am
writing a "JivePortlet". It is actually a Jive (with an "I") skin that will allow
Jive to be embedded into Jetspeed. Hopefully the basic Jive functionality will be
available in the very early part of December.

Kevin, I am assuming that you are talking the possibility of having discussion threads
based on the news items in the RSS feeds? How I am implementing the "Story" or
NewsForum as it's now called is to use a slightly enhance JiveThread. This is similar
in appearance to Jetspeed Content, but with a full forum attached, ala Slashdot,
Kuro5hin, Advogato, etc..., but works just fine as a regular JiveThread.

Could you explain more about what in CapabilityMap in particular I should be looking
at?

Later,

Maurice
