Being nice to yourself doesn't mean "Okay, just let it all become an even bigger mess" though... But do allow yourself to breathe, relax. Now
sit down, grab a piece of paper and jot down what you want to do today. No big things, managable stuff. If you take it one day at the time, and
for instance spend a whole day if you need taking the blankets out of the crib, there's at least 30 to 50 days left, so you'll still be fine by
the day the baby comes!! But DO something everyday, and try not to let it get worse than it is now.
Marleen's advice is right on Julie. You can do this. Get focused on small areas at a time. You know if someone sat two or three huge pies in front of you and told you to eat the whole thing you would think it impossible. But, if you cut them up into little slices, it might take a period of time, but the task would seem so much easer. The thing I worry about is that you shouldn't stay so stressed out right now with the baby coming and all. So, above all take care of you and that baby.
