Maria,
It is possible to get it done if everyone helps out. I have my dd (10yo)
doing chores. She has to:
Straighten bathroom(no one else uses it)
Practice Piano
Feed Bird
Make bed
P/U room
Put up clothes
Sweep Kitchen floor
Put up dishes
Read Bible
Awana
She has to do this each day. I also give her wages(don't like the word
allowance) on what she does and what kind of attitude she has while doing
it. I know some people don't like the idea of paying kids to do chores, but
I figure I can teach her handle money and how to clean at the same time.
We also have a saying around our house. "Erase the Evidence". That means
if you get out the cereal and milk then you have to clean up your mess.
