Debbie -

Good luck on working out your financial problems and getting a job - I hope
Nancilee can help you.

I can sympathize with the school dilemma - same problem here. Our
registration for next year is this week also. My sons both attended the same
Catholic school from Pre-K on (actually the youngest (10) started in the 3 yr
old class. I was willing to do just about anything to keep them in school,
and somehow I've managed.

My older son started high school this year and he is now attending the local
public school. This decision kept me in an uproar throughout ALL of the
2000-2001 school year. We actually registered him in a catholic high school
in the city, but I knew I just couldn't manage the increase in tuition. Thank
God, my son is so mature that he helped me decide it just wasn't worth the
extra expense, travel and stress involved for all of us. Our local high
school is very good and he is in Honors classes and doing well - on the Honor
Roll, though he doesn't have straight A's. It turned out to be a good
decision for us.

However, I understand that your kids are younger and attached to their
school. My 10 year old is the same - no way is he willing to leave his
school. Fortunately, I am much more able to manage tuition for one.

Just hang in there and do your best and somehow you'll be guided to make the
right decisions - I know I was. Is there any chance that your school will
give you some kind of assistance for the work you do there? Let me know how
it turns out. I'll be praying for you.

Diane
