Hi we have a small kitchen too,
what we did,
we did hang the cupboards  little higher and made shelves under the cupboard.
see how you can use the wall. Or hang small baskets on the inside of your cupboarddoors.
Our kitchen is about a total of 7m, which isn't much, we have a fridge, freezer, dryer in there, and the things that are in every kitchen, so imagine it isn't very big.
Looking forward to moving into my new house where the kitchen is about 12m!

Subject: [JFC]: Re Article ~ shopping

Hi,
erm I thought most people only went shopping once a week? I'm trying to
only shop for fresh things once a week and buy the rest on BOGOFS (Buy One
Get One Free) deals to save money. It's going to take me a long time to get
it all together though. Haven't got a lot of cash so am gradualy increasing
my store cupboard and planning very carefuly where I'm going to stick all
the stuff. :) This means I HAVE to de-clutter my kitchen as it's only 10 1/2
ft x 7 1/2 ft and that's including the cupboards, plus there are 3 doors
into it  (cellar, backdoor and living room) which takes up valuable storage
space. I also have no utility type room so the washing machine is in the
kitchen too and a fridge freezer. Any ideas on storing herbs and spices? I
have lots, I mean in excess of 30 different kinds and all sizes and shapes
of jars + bags. They take up the whole bottom section of a double wall
cupboard + there's baking things like yeast, food colouring etc.

                       Regards, Elaine GH (UK)
