I'm now customizing my /etc/make.conf on Gentoo, in preparation for compiling and installing jffnms.
Any suggestions or things I've missed on the Gentoo(stage1) installation?
Here is the /etc/make.conf file:

CFLAGS="-O2 -pipe -mcpu=i686 -fomit-frame-pointer"
CHOST="i386-pc-linux-gnu"
USE="-gtk -gnome qt kde dvd alsa cdr 3dfx mozilla snmp perl usb X"
CXXFLAGS="${CFLAGS}"
MAKEOPTS="-j2"
GENTOO_MIRRORS="http://212.219.247.12/sites/www.ibiblio.org/gentoo/ http://212.219.247.14/sites/www.ibiblio.org/gentoo/ http://212.219.247.15/sites/www.ibiblio.org/gentoo/";
CCACHE_SIZE="2G"
FEATURES="ccache strict sfperms sandbox"
