Brian,

I'm not Maria, but to answer your question, in manual forms mode, you must press enter to go into forms mode if the control is a text entry field (edit box) or dropdown (combo box). For radio buttons and checkboxes you can check them with space bar, but while that checks the object in question, it does not turn on forms mode. That is to say that you can check a radio button, then continue navigating as though you hadn't entered forms mode. Form submit buttons function the same way.

Maria,

Thanks for that info, which now leads me to a closely related question: Do you have to hit Enter on any of the object types, e.g., radio buttons, check boxes, buttons, before the usual control actions (space bar to toggle in those examples) will actually function, or is the Enter limited to objects where text is expected to be entered (and that's an edit field only, isn't it)?

I can tell I'm beginning to fade at the moment, and midnight's still a bit over two hours away. Happy New Year to all!!! (Pardon me if I start snoring!)

Brian
