Londa, Off forum, were I ever to have a client with a device that comes with a keyboard without a number pad I'd be using the laptop keystrokes with them out of necessity. I just tend to teach to match that individual's hardware. I make them aware that there are dedicated laptop keystrokes in case they ever find themselves doing a switch to that sort of laptop, but I don't teach those because I can't see the point at the time that they don't have to use them (and we've got the desktop ones for them to master).
