I'm not interacting with the JFW list via e-mail, but via the groups.io web-based forums interface. I can't imagine what's going on. If this is occurring for anyone else then please contact groups.io technical support since I'm only posting what I'm posting one time. If it's being e-mailed out more than once it's not at my request. I did just find a Profile option that says "I always want copies of my own messages" that I just unchecked to see if that has any effect. If the duplicate messages stop then that may be the culprit. I have also edited this message twice, once for the comment regarding the profile option and once again to put this line in. I suspect the duplicates in e-mail may be coming if I edit a message on the forums if you have your e-mail preferences set to send instant notifications rather than the digest. If that's the case you'll likely have three copies of this message: the original and one for each edit. This could also be what's happening. Please let me know what you're seeing. Brian, who notices that contributions often get quoted and requoted multiple times, but those repeats are contained in the posts by quoters
