Hello listers:
thanks for reminding my about the tethering post.
Here is my other problem.
When using the ebsco or proquest there are some pdf files that can be
downloaded.
The sighted person tells me that there is a button which allows one to
download it. This can be done by mouse only.
Is there a way to switch to a jaws cursor and list all buttons in the
application or on the net and then press them or click or double click on
them?
I am using jaws 15 on my laptop.
Also if the graphics or buttons are not labled is there a way to do so and
assign a short cut key to it?
I read the chapter about graphic labeleing and jaws labeling but down
understand their conectivity.
Many thanks.
Zdenek

Hi Sandy,

The issue here is that the laptop version CTRL Insert NumPad-minus
still uses a numpad key, something only easily found on a desktop.

One solution is to assign your own custom keyboard command, such as
Ctrl + Alt + T to the TetherJAWSToPC script:

1. Use Insert F2 to bring up the Run JAWS Manager dialog, press K for
keyboard
2. Press D until you hear Default then press Tab to enter the
default list of keyboard commands
3. Type "T e" -- the first two letters of Tether; you should hear
TetherJAWSToPC
4. Press Ctrl+A to add a new keystroke to the TetherJAWSToPC script,
type your new keystroke such as Ctrl + Alt + T then tab to Ok button.
5. Alt+F4 to exit

I tested this here on my laptop using JAWS 15 now and pressing
Ctrl+Alt+T alternates between "JAWS will follow PC" and "JAWS will
not follow PC" messages.
