It doesn't exactly come with 8.1, but is available as a Microsoft add-on I think it is called Microsoft Essentials or Windows Essentials or something like that, and you find it through the Programs and Features in Control Panel. From there, you choose the components you want, and Windows Live Mail is one choice. Windows Mail is already on the PC, but I found it inaccesible. Doublecheck with a Google search, and you'll find its exact name. I think the most trouble you will have is getting used to the Ribbons.

Subject: Re: Mail programs with 8.1

Oh, thank you. WLM comes with 8.1, right? I was told that I'd have to find a mail client because 8.1 didn't come with its own mail program, so just want to make sure in advance. I'll probably get a new computer within a week or so and it's stressing me out already. *Sigh!*

I will go with the WLM option, then, unless someone else has any other/better ideas. Thanks for your help.
