Hello, again. In an attempt to have an alternative to Jaws, I'm seriously considering putting Window Eyes on at least one computer here.
However, I have heard from several sources that having two screen readers on the same computer can create real issues, if things are not done properly. Also, can I configure Window Eyes to work with Elloquence, which is what Jaws currently uses? Finally, I'd like to know how much of a learning curve is going to be involved with learning to use Window Eyes, especially since I have been a Jaws user for about the last 20 years. My time to learn a new speech screen reader is limited, although I will certainly try to do so if it would be in my best interest. If this post is considered to be "off topic" for this list, I want to apologize in advance to the moderator and other list members. I simply don't know where else to ask this question, given the various e-mail lists to which I belong. Sincerely, Dr. Tom Behler from Michigan _______________________________________________ Jfw mailing list [email protected] http://lists.the-jdh.com/mailman/listinfo/jfw_lists.the-jdh.com
