The Ins-Ctrl-S gives a choice of profiles, and you want to start there, as
you're not going to get Reed on a SAPI 5 profile. He's Eloquence. Once you
get there, do you want the same voice all the time, or do you want different
voices for different JAWS activities (see yesterday's correspondence? Either
way, start by going to JAWS, doing Alt-F, and choosing Voices, voice
Adjustment. Tab over to Adjust, and you're in business. You can do all
contexts, or choose any of the different options listed.

Hi, Numb pad five does give me the character clearly. Control, jaws key S
doesn't give me a list of voice options. Thanks, Judith

I will say that the numpad five will provide fenetic representation for the
character in question up for investigation...

Perform CTRL jaws key s for the voice profile dialog.

I'm trying to change the jaws voice from a female sappy voice to my old
friend Reid, a male voice. The female voice doesn't enunciate letters in a
way I can understand. I get confused with letters like M orN. There used
to be a keystroke that would give the name of the letter and give examples
of words begun with that letter. Does this keystroke still exist? If yes
does anyone know it? Also if you can help me get Reid back I would be most
appreciative. Thanks, Judith
