First, FS is offering the following webinar on December 9: Voice Profiles with JAWS and MAGic. I believe the event is free. For details, go to http://www.freedomscientific.com/Services/TrainingAndCertification Second, it is my understanding that services for visually impaired people in Japan are pretty sophisticated, in some ways more so than they are in the U.S. Can you track down an appropriate agency there for advice on Japanese language synthesizers that are compatible with JAWS? You might try Google. If that fails, there's always the Japanese embassy in Washington or a more local consulate. Someone there will almost certainly refer you to an appropriate organization. I could go on with suggestions along these lines. I just know from many experiences that people love to help foreigners who show an interest in their country. Good luck.
