[extremely long article snipped]
You miss the point.
You can back up jaws as much as you like.
You can even go download a fully functional version from the net.
and if you want to back up your keydisk, you are legally entitled to do so.
and if you come up with a way to back up your keydisk, well and good.
If you don't, quit wining about it, its been done to death.
You can get replacement keydisks from hj if you need them, you can even get blank
keydisks which you can write keys back to if necessary.
Do you really need anything more?
You seem to ascribe mythical powers to the HJ key disk (re, the comment about the so
called professional hacker)
any *cracker* (crackers are not hackers) worth his salt would be aware that you can't
almost destroy a system by playing with a keydisk.
Its time to step back from this a bit and think rationally.
You have been presented with two valid approaches to this problem
(a third is to defeat the copy protection system yourself if you so desire)
and I highly suggest you go and take one of them.
Regards
Aaron
