What right arrow button? You mean the Play triangle? I'd guess the
center button is used b/c that's what the old Apple iPod clickwheels
use (I run Rockbox on my iPod Video, and it uses the 3 o'clock button
instead of the center button -- much nicer than the Apple software).

Have you looked at http://wiki.slimdevices.com/index.cgi?JiveUI

I haven't tested it in a while, but at least the Random Mix on Jive
didn't follow the UI -- you have to press center/Go to kick it off,
where the UI (and remote control behavior) used the Play button to
start playing a Random Mix.
