It's the same menu. In the case of what you're calling the 'player' home menu, that's just the case where you are connected to a player, and as a result you are given more options. The title is changed from 'home' to 'whatever your player is named', but it's the same menu. You'll find that every option that you have in the 'home' home menu exists in the 'player' home menu. I don't want to discount your confusion, as it's entirely relevant and valid, but I'd suggest that you look for the little mini icon in the upper right as an indication of being 'home' rather than whatever the title bar says. I don't see us changing that behavior.
