I found something similar in two cases which I think were as follows (i) there was a version of Jive around r141? which had network problems.
(ii) when I upgrade Jive ahead of SqueezeCenter using SD card such that Jive has a version later than Squeezecenter. So check your versions of 1. Squeezecenter 2. Jive in the SBC 3.
