Sorry to bring this up again, but i would love to hear that some work is still going into making album art work better. It's my biggest nag, but it really lets the show down IMO. It has got better, but i still dont understand why it does not start caching -before- i enter the album list (while its sitting there in the dock). Then i watch it play catch up as i scroll through the list. Once they are all cached (i routinely slowly scroll through the entire list to get them all cached) it fine (although some do go AWOL when i leave the album list screen). Rightly or wrongly, people scorned Apple for the poor cover art performance in early iPod firmwares because people have come to expect very slick UI's with no lag in lading artwork etc. It really pretty much the only thing that lets down overall user experience IMO.
Will there be much more of an improvement before it goes retail?
