I just installed the debian package on my Kubuntu 7.10 box and was
pleased that everything ran very easily. I had to tweak the system
settings on my USB music library HDD to allow squeezecenter to access
it, but it was no big deal.

I then checked my SB3 and found that it was recognized by SqueezeCenter
(along with the SBR, thank you) and all seemed well. I started
scrolling through menus on the SB3 using the IR remote and got to
squeezenetwork beta. It then displayed a PIN number on the SB3 and I
was unable to get the SB3 to display anything else. I reset it and it
rebooted, reconnected to the network, and and then jumped immediately
back to the PIN number display.

Thinking back, it is possible that there was some other text that I
wasn't seeing because I have the text size on the display set to
maximum. I finally tried logging into squeezenetwork beta web site and
entered the PIN that was displayed on the SB3. The SB3 started working
again. I also noticed that the SBR had apparently registered itself on
the squeezenetwork beta site because it was already listed there.

I think something needs to be done to allow a person to exit the pin
no. display on the SB3 without going to the web site and loggin in and
setting up the unit. A lot of people may get trapped by that one.
