Hey guys, I'm starting to get acquainted with the Squeezebox Duet and was wondering if you wouldn't mind helping me along with a couple of technical questions about the product. I've banged out a couple of questions using the search but I think the ones I have left are a little harder to track down.
1. I understand that Jive is the platform that runs the wireless controller. Is it possible to extend the built in functionality of the control like it is possible to extend the SlimServer (through plugins or whatever) 2. What degree am I able to customize the controller? 3. Having never seen or used a Duet (yet) I'm a little unclear as to exactly how the controller's interface functions, but I was wondering how multi-room (or, multi-Squeezeboxes, rather) is handled? So, what am I getting at? Well I'd like to be able to control my PVR using my SqueezeBox Duet remote. Additionally, I've got multiple PVRs in multiple rooms, so I'd like to be able to handle that too. The PVR is the open-source GB-PVR which already has a pretty usable design and is able to rock all the HD content and such. Additionally, it's got a nifty host mode that allows it to be controlled remotely. I'd like to be able to create a plugin for the remote that would allow me to navigate the GB-PVRs installed. Is this something that would be relatively easy to do using Jive? Is it even possible to achieve this kind of functionality on the remote? Also, I've got my eye on that Crestron plugin too! Thanks!
