Yes, there are a few plugins already for games, lyrics and the nifty RetroBrowser. These actually run on the controller themself and communicate back to the server if they need to. > > 2. You can set backgrounds based on player, so Midnight (dark blue) for one room and Cement (greyish) for another, and wispy smoke for another... Well it talks to Slimserver, so what I would do would be to look at some of the server side plugins to execute arbitrary commands (usually used to shutdown the server and such remotely) and adapt them to issue the commands you need to control your PVR.
