I've just accidentally put an already set up receiver into set up mode by holding the button. I was actually trying to turn it off! I'm a bit concerned that I won't be the only person to make this mistake, so was wondering what happens once a device is put into setup mode, but receives no connection from a remote? Does it wait indefinitely, or does the setup time out? Given that my receiver was already fully connected to the network and a music source, the setup mode was really a bit too easy to trigger. I can imagine that guests, kids etc could cause a bit of a problem by just holding the button.
