A quick google turned up powered in-wall speakers by Altec Lansing and
Polk Audio, and I am sure there are others. One potential complication
to keep in mind is that you need to run line-level signal (unbalanced)
from the SB to the powered speaker. That increases your chances of
picking up interference hum. There are ways to avoid that -- such as
baluns, shielded cable, or luck -- but it's worth considering.
