The controller doesn't bridge the receiver to your existing network.
When your controller is connected to your wireless network and you
setup your receiver the controller actually transfers its wireless
settings to the receiver, thus after setup the receiver is connected
wirelessly to your existing WLAN.
Currently there is no way to setup bridging of a device connected to
the receiver's ethernet port from the controller.
It might be possible to configure this using Robin's UDAP tool.
At least there's a setting in the tool to enable bridging but I'm not
sure if it's actually functional.
