I've got the same problem and going via Advanced Settings hasn't solved the problem. Furthermore, I downloaded the latest firmware from http://slimdevices.com/downloads/nightly/latest/trunk/ (consistent with my SC 18946), copied it onto the SD card and tried Advanced Settings to update from SD card, which also failed. Here's looking forward to the next firmware!
