I have always been a fan of Music IP. Unfortunatly, I run SqueezeCenter off an Infrant NAS. Since you have to leave Music IP running on the same machine as the server...well, it is never going to work for me.
So my questions are: 1. Music IP analyses the songs and writes a code to the file tags - right? Is there any way that you can make the music IP technology work (or part of SC) so that all it needs is the codes? That way all users would not have to worry about having to run that application all the time? I mean, let's be honest, as great as it is it really feels piecemeal. 2. If you have to use Music IP on your machine and then create playlists, how do you make the local file compatable with SC. I have all of my music on the infrant in the default Media/Music folder. I have a copy of that music local on c:\Music. -- brdbointx ------------------------------------------------------------------------ brdbointx's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=9833 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=47907 _______________________________________________ jive mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/jive
