You might be able to compile a PDA version of SqueezePlay, but only Logitech is allowed to distribute SqueezePlay binaries or source. And if you make any changes to SqueezePlay, you are obligated to give those changes, and all IP rights to those changes, to Logitech (if they ask for them). The good Slim Devices folks have expressed a desire to offer SqueezePlay on the iPod/iPhone, but it would probably have to omit Lua plugin support to meet *Apple's* licensing requirements. That might not be a big deal -- the SqueezePlay code on the Controller appears to all be compiled binaries even though the Controller includes the lua and luac binaries that Apple would never allow. -- peterw http://www.tux.org/~peterw/ free plugins: http://www.tux.org/~peterw/#slim AllQuiet BlankSaver FuzzyTime PlayLog PowerCenter/BottleRocket SaverSwitcher SettingsManager SleepFade StatusFirst SyncOptions VolumeLock ------------------------------------------------------------------------ peterw's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=2107 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=47870 _______________________________________________ jive mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/jive
