You might be able to compile a PDA version of SqueezePlay, but only
Logitech is allowed to distribute SqueezePlay binaries or source. And
if you make any changes to SqueezePlay, you are obligated to give those
changes, and all IP rights to those changes, to Logitech (if they ask
for them). The good Slim Devices folks have expressed a desire to offer
SqueezePlay on the iPod/iPhone, but it would probably have to omit Lua
plugin support to meet *Apple's* licensing requirements. That might not
be a big deal -- the SqueezePlay code on the Controller appears to all
be compiled binaries even though the Controller includes the lua and
luac binaries that Apple would never allow.
