Apple's restrictive licensing rules are indeed prohibitive to running
Squeezeplay on an iAnything. There is no Lua interpreter, and they
won't allow us to put one on the thing. Point the finger at Apple for
that. I'll leave it up to you which finger.

As Erland pointed out, control of a squeezebox via an iPhone/Touch has
been available for quite a while through Pippin's wonderful iPeng
offering. Also there is a 3rd party effort well underway towards
writing a stand-alone app for the iPhone for Squeezebox control called
iSqueeze. See this forum thread:
