Thanks for the reply. It makes sense that some of the features might be
lost with directly playing files off the file system.

Yes, I've had issues with 96/24 flac files. The unit seems to struggle
at times with them and using visualizers might really be a dream with
this type of file.

I was guessing that perhaps the IO happening with the loopback might be
putting some strain on things potentially contributing the issues, but
if you are saying this is very efficient I'll move on.
