it is hard for me to tell at the moment how long if will take to finish my stuff, but I guess at least two weeks. It is not my intention to stop JMeter development for the next time, so let's try to resolve this.
First of all, how many files are we talking about? Are there 5, 10, 20, 50 files to be moved in the respository?
If we are talking about 10 files or so, I would say just do it and please give me a list of which file to move to which new target path so I can do the same in my private repository. If the plan is to move around more files it is your decision to wait or to do the component shuffling now. If you decide to do it now, please at least give me a list of the files that were moved.
