This is a problem area resulting from the feud between Microsoft and Sun.

 - Launch IE
 - go to www.java.com
 - click on the upper right where it says 'get it now'

I don't know what link it is recommending.

What version of Netscape are you using?

Try it out and tell us whether or not it works for you.

Interestingly, I set up a brand new Dell machine yesterday running Win XP.
I was surprised to see that the Sun JVM was already installed ... a very
recent version.

After doing some web searching, I found that HP & Dell signed agreements
with Sun some time ago saying that they would ship the Sun JVM ... in
order to help minimize problems for their customers.
