Egon, thanks. It's really a treat to work with such an accomplished group.

What would "pyMOL" do in this regard? What would our goal be? Something akin to a script file that could be "run" on a given file -- or, perhaps, incorporating reference to the file as well, because I don't imagine these being transferable -- usable on more than one model.

Bob, thanx for all this good work. I am very happy to see another developer on board... Makes me proud of the project!

Anyway... the above feature would be very nice; *especially* if it would allow other programs to be able to 'restore' the view too, e.g. PyMOL.
