If I can't reproduce it, then I recommend that I back the changes out of cvs. Then I will reintroduce them in smaller steps. I think that is the easiest way to find them. Egon, I've thought about putting debugging code into the paint methods, but for me I don't think that would be very effective. This was my first jmol cvs submission and I thought I had restricted my changes to have minimal impact.
