Gale says that other programs like DeepView use the same sign that Jmol is currently using,
so a change in the documentation is better.
It should say:
Negative values correspond to cross-eyed viewing.
Positive values correspond to "wall-eyed" viewing.
I've already done the fix in the pop-up menu:
"Style:Stereographic:Wall-eyed viewing" will do "stereo 5", giving wall-eyed (divergent)
viewing.
"Style:Stereographic:Cross-eyed viewing" will do
"stereo -5", giving cross-eyed (convergent)
viewing.
(I've commited this change in both Trunk and Branches/11_0 )
