Henry, first thing I would do is learn how to increase the memory 
allotment for Java on your machine. I don't know how to do it on a Mac, 
but that might be the only problem. My machine gives something like 95Mb 
to Java. I am not finding any memory leak in my tests so far, but I'll 
keep working.

If you have time today to work with me on this, I'm game. But it may 
take some back and forth.
