Yes.

But I think the script needs to run immediately *after* the molecule is
loaded, not before. That way the web application developer can use
'select' to set properties for different atom types.

The applet can currently specify an arbitrary script to run as soon as the
molecule gets loaded.

What I was thinking of was another script, one which would be run each
time a molecule was loaded into that instance of the applet.
