I am also interested in what others think ... particularly because I think
that going to a 'measurement user-interface mode' is not a good idea. I
made it available from the scripting language only for backwards
compatibility with existing scripts. But I am not enthusiastic about
extending support for it into the interactive UI.

But Chris, I know that you are not the only person that wants it ...

Q: Chris, how did you propose that we get into this mode ... and out of it?
