Those are my best attempts to date. view3.htm uses setTimeout() to
run the .script() command; that's the only difference.

does the "rotate x" button work?

I'm sorry, I'm afraid a set up a moving target when I overlayed mscalc.js
this afternoon. This changed the behavior of the original view.htm. I know
better than to do this....
