We exchanged a few emails regarding making the 'chain' specification in
PDB/mmCIF files be case sensitive.

It seems to me that if we are going to make one part of 'atom expressions'
case sensitive then we should make everything case sensitive. That is, if
'case sensitivity' is enabled then all of the following become case
sensitive:

 - residueName [arg] != [ARG]
 - insertion code
 - chain Specification
 - atom name matching
 - alternate conformation/location identifier

That would mean that the following would not be equivalent

select [arg] != select [ARG]
select 1^A != select 1^a
select *:A != select *:a
select *.ca != select *.CA != select *.Ca
select *%A != select *%a

select [arg].ca != select [ARG].CA

Q: Do people agree that there should be one case-sensitivity switch that
makes all atom expression fields become case sensitive?

Q: What do I name the option that controls this?

set atomExpressionCaseSensitivity on

set ?? on|off
