There is probably a way to read the current spacefill value of an atom, but I 
cannot tell you 
for sure.
You could use some JmolScript (or a JavaScript) variables to keep track of your 
current 
values for each atom. Not the best solution, but will work (at least if you 
have few atoms).

 {atomno=1}.radius
gives you the size in angstrom (not in percent)
