I think I could write a Collada export fairly quickly. I have the specs
(532 pages!).
What I would need is several example files that are from Jmol using that
sequence so I can see what is involved. Are they coming up with the
appropriate viewpoint and magnification? (Does that matter?) Specifically:
- a small molecule, just balls and sticks
- a surface such as VDW (be sure to "display none" so just the surface is
rendered).
- a mapped surface such as an electrostatic potential, again with DISPLAY
NONE to just show the surface.
- something with labels.
