Hi all,
I'm from Argentina and recently (December 31st, 2007) we started using Daylight
Saving Time.
The problem is that I don't know how to make Joda know about this change.
I tried recompiling the jar as suggested in
http://joda-time.sourceforge.net/tz_update.html, but it doesn't seem to work. I
look into the fields of the Zone created for argentina and it doesn't have any
DSTZone as tailzone.
Until yesterday we had the same problem with java.lang.Date, but they have
updated the timezone database definition for the JDK (by using tzupdater).
It seems that the timezone definition indicated in the tz_update.html doesn't
reflect the DST change for Argentina (is this right?).
Is there any way to make any of theese?:
a) Use the JDK timezone definitions?
b) Make a custom timezone for argentina that includes DST?
c) Update tz database for making joda aware of this change?
Thank you very much!
Darío García
