Yes there is more and more activities around JOnAS.
We have just released version 1.6 two weeks ago. The next version (planned for
March) will provide XML support and most of the EJB 1.1 missing functionalities.
We are also incorporating all the very valuables open-source contributions that we
are receiving. We are also working on a new version of EJB container that will
provide very advanced features and improved performances.

We have also established very strong partnerships with enhydra.org
(www.enhydra.org) and objectweb.org (www.objectweb.org) to provide a full J2EE
(TM) open source platform called Enhydra Enterprise. Enhydra Enterprise will
integrate Enhydra, JOnAS and Jonanthan (an open source flexible ORB developped by
France-Telecom). The first integrated version is expected at the end of this
quarter (1Q00). See www.enhydra.org for more infos on this initiative and
corresponding workplan.
