LOL - As you know Sandra performed at Don Henley's Walden Woods benefit '98
along with Joni and Stevie among others. Larry Klein was the musical
director and Joni was poised somewhat as the star of the show, being the
closer and all. Joni got the second biggest applause and standing
ovations - Stevie brought down the house. I lucked into a good seat that
night, right in front of Mick Fleetwood and Lindsay Buckingham. Believe me,
Mick looked the youngest and heartiest of the group!

I'd wager that you have heard the early Fleetwood Mac bit maybe didn't know
it was them. Their songs in the early 70s were pretty big and well-played
among the college crowds. The consecutive "Future Games," "Bare Trees" and
"Mystery to Me" albums were incredible. Moody, bluesy, jazzy and a little
psychedelic. To me, however, they sound nothing like the Buckingham Nicks
FM. It's like two different bands in sound. Many of the early sings were
written/performed by Peter Green and Bob Welch who departed the band before
B-N. B-N revitalized the band but it metamorphized into something new.

I definitely give Stevie the songwriting kudos over McVie. I am not
immersed in Stevie like others but I like everything I've learned about her
over the years. She can be a knock-out in some performances.
