Every time I hear the lines, "His father built an empire/ his sister loved a thief/ and Lindsay loved the ways of darkness/ Beyond belief", I think of the song "Brother, can you spare a dime" with the line "Once I built a railroad, made it run [...]/ Once I built a railroad; now it's done." and also the non-PC rhyme "Taffy was a Welshman, Taffy was a thief".
