I actually bought that Britney CD because I liked the song. (And, just so I can justify any music slutdom, I do want to learn to write more commercially viable songs, so I guess you could call it research... how's that for justification???) Sorry, Evian. I don't share your enthusiasm for Alanis' writing. Her lyrics are sloppy, they don't fit into any meter, and they don't rhyme. Maybe that's the point? I always want to 'fix' her songs. On the other hand, she did a brilliant job on "The Prayer Cycle." lots of love Anne
