OK, I just got back from my lunhctime run, and I thought of more stuff: The crickets on NRH...I like them as an intro, but they keep chirping too darn long into the song, plus they're too mechanical, they sound too metronomic (don't know if that's a word or not). The wolves on "Lindsay"...love it/them, they add to the haunting nature of the song, one of Joni's best & most overlooked. Can't wait to hear Marian play it again!!!! As for all the synth farts & bleeps and effects on DED, well, I won't even go there! ;~) Bob NP: Bonnie Raitt, "Cool, Clear Water"
