Hey Coyote! > If you ever wanna hear anything from her catalogue, just come on by Casa Alegre. > Concrete Love is her best yet, IMHO. Way to go Kline and Fordham!
O.K. I'm more calmed down now and can modify my former appraisal of the reviewer to, as one of our kinder jmdlers just wrote me, "uninformed." ;-) I haven't heard Concrete Love yet, but all of the reviews have been fantastic and if Larry helped to bring that along, he deserves to share the kudos. > About the review, I must agree with Kakki. Julia has made her own mark. > Joni inspired? Maybe, but how could she help it? Of course! She is Joni inspired and usually gives a gush about Joni in every show. But Julia has her own vibe and has never reminded me of a "Joni-type" at all. > If I ever had regrets, it would be that I have yet to see her live. I missed her last week here due to another obligation ;-( but I'm sure she'll be back in town soon. >BUT I am seeing James Taylor for the first time live at the Bowl on July 3!! JT and > fireworks! THAT is going to be one amazing show! > PS - has anyone heard from Gary Zack? Yes! Just heard from him today about his picking up the three new Laura Nyro remasters. He's been in L.A. a couple weeks and has email access but is not on the list. If anyone wants to send him a note his email is [EMAIL PROTECTED] Kakki
